Each camp day begins with Opening Circle in our historic hay barn. This is a time to settle in, connect, share and set intentions for the day. For the learning experiences campers break into smaller groups, or "herds", and spend 75 minutes each day in Horse Pod, Art Pod and Nature Pod. These experiential learning pods weave life skills almost invisibly into fun and inspiring activities. The pods are facilitated by trained specialists who amplify the natural benefits of partnering with horses, accessing creativity and engaging with the natural world into opportunities to practice foundational skills needed to be successful in life and in relationships with others.
We end each day the same way we begin, with Closing Circle in the hay barn. Coming together as a whole community to share experiences, insights and gratitudes promotes the three primary intentions of the camp: to have fun, grow our strengths and feel a sense of belonging.
